The plastic windows on envelopes, are acceptable to a certain extend.
Having one plastic window would not affect much, however, if the papers all come attached with a plastic window, that will be a huge amount of plastic contamination.
The right way of recycling envelopes with plastic windows would be to remove the plastic windows.
